Weighing In, Yet Again

Published by hvnlykarma at 6:41 am under Weight Loss Edit This

So after a week and a half of plain chicken and raw veggies for breakfast, I’ve gained a pound. Rat-bastard, fargin’ iceholes and fother-mucker!

Frustrated    I’ve tried, man. I’ll take about four ounces of chicken and some raw veggies to work and just kind of snack on them throughout the morning. For lunch and dinner, I eat more veg’s, fat-free turkey bacon or some other kind of protein, brown rice, etc. Carbs are my downfall, but I’ve tried to cut them almost completely out, other than complex carbs like brown rice. I drink half my body weight, in ounces, of water and have recently cut out even diet soda to one per day.

It has been suggested to me that I eat five to six small meals per day. I’m finding that extremely difficult, which is why I eat the way I do in the morning. I know I should be moving around more. My excuse for not doing so is that I write all the time, which is true and yet not a good excuse. I know.

I get up at 5:30, check on my blogs and e-mail, and write. I write at lunch and after work until it’s time for bed. In addition to my blogs, I’m still re-working an article and working on the book I’m writing. Between the number on the scale and the recent rejection of my article, my ego is shot. But I’m still trying.

Maybe my new scale is broken.

I feel your pain. It is difficult but don’t give up. It always works in the long run.

I, too, feel your pain. This program has helped many people (www.takeshapeforlife.com). Check it out, and good luck.
